Earlier this summer, Star Trek fans rejoiced as the third installment in Paramount Pictures’ rebooted film series hit theaters. Star Trek Beyond follows Kirk, Spock, and their crew as they attempt to escape a foreign planet and maniacal dictator Krall. This film was an emotional one for fans and creators alike, since it features the franchise’s first gay character and now lives on as young actor Anton Yelchin’s final Star Trek film before his untimely death.
