In 1990, the horror/action movie Tremors starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward tunneled its way into theaters. The movie didn’t fair to well at the box office but eventually found itself with a rather exciting niche group of fans. That fan base has turned the ancient worm-based franchise into a somewhat of a cult phenomenon, which has spawned five direct-to-DVD sequels and a short-lived television series.
