As Hollywood blockbusters grow bigger and bigger, so does the search for exotic shooting locations around the world. It’s great when filmmakers seek out real-world spots rather than simply shoot everything in front of a green screen. And although he has made plenty of films with a heavy green screen component, director Zack Snyder, despite some of his past misfires, is one of the few out there who wants to give as much realism to his films as possible. He brought some dark but alluring visuals in the incredibly divisive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he hopefully will continue that trend with 2017’s Justice League.
