Carrie Fisher’s death two days ago has left her fans devastated. For those who want to honor the late actress, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is offering quite a unique memorial at several locations.
Several different Alamo Drafthouse locations are screening Fisher’s movies, andnd some are offering Lightsaber Vigils, in honor of her most famous role as Princess/General Leia in the Star Wars franchise. Those who do not have lightsabers may bring glowsticks or flashlights – the goal is simply to “brighten the sky” in tribute to Fisher.
The first event has already past, as last night there were Lightsaber Vigils at the Alamo Drafthouse’s Texas locations (Austin, New Braunfels, Stone Oak, Park North, Westlakes, and Laredo). But ...
