Ever since he fought in a one-sided cage match and sliced a shotgun in half with his claws, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) has been a centerpiece of 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movie franchise, even getting two of his own spinoff movies. The third of these Wolverine solo movies, Logan, is set for release next year and sees director Mangold (The Wolverine) return to tell a story of an older, wearier Wolverine whose healing powers are starting to fade.
