The original trilogy of Star Wars films was filled with memorable characters, some of whom are the most popular of all-time. However, there was one supporting character that stole the show from the shadows. The Mandalorian armored bounty hunter, Boba Fett, has been a fan favorite ever since his introduction, which is what made him an often suggested choice to lead his own spin-off film. The project moved fairly deep into pre-production with Josh Trank (Fantastic Four) attached to direct and a reported sizzle reel created in 2015.
