Debbie Reynolds, star of such classic movie musicals as Singin’ in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown passed away today at the age of 84, only one day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher.
While Reynolds was most well know for the abovementioned musicals, even receiving an Oscar nomination for The Unsinkable Molly Brown, her career spanned decades, beginning in the late 1940s. In more recent years, she has a reoccurring role on Will & Grace and numerous voiceover roles on shows such as Rugrats, Kim Possible, and Family Guy. In 2013, she played Frances Liberache in Behind the Candelabra.
According to Variety, Reynolds’ cause of death is believed to be a stroke.
