It’s almost hard to remember a time now when Guardians of the Galaxy‘s chances of Box Office success seemed like a longshot, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s lovable losers were essentially nobodies before their movie was announced. Now they’re one of Marvel’s most popular franchises with a sequel on the way that won’t even bother itself with connecting to the larger MCU. Two teaser trailers have already hit for the film, the most recent of which was the second largest trailer launch ever (just after Disney’s own Beauty and the Beast).
