Saban and Lionsgate’s marketing for the 2017 Power Rangers movie reboot has steadily unveiled the various re-imagined elements of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers property, as featured in the film. We’ve now seen the Rangers’ new costumes, as well as the significantly different look of the villainous Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) in the reboot and the concept design of the easily-panicked robot, Alpha 5 (voiced by Bill Hader).
The Rangers’ Zords – colossal-assault vehicles designed after the Rangers’ respective animal “power sources” (the Tyrannosaurus, the Saber-Toothed Tiger and so forth) have been partially glimpsed in certain posters released for the film to date.
