Suicide Squad wasn’t the most financially successful or critically acclaimed superhero film of 2016, thanks to competetion by hits like Captain America: Civil War and Deadpool, but it’s hard to say it wasn’t successful at introducing DC’s gang of anti-heroes. The film earned $745 million at the worldwide box office, and successfully got fans excited about a sequel and spinoffs.
