One of the most financially successful film franchises of the last decade is returning to theaters in 2017. Love them or hate them, the Michael Bay-directed Transformers films have been nothing short of spectacular at the box office. The first three films in the franchise each earned over $300 million domestically, with Transformers: Dark of the Moon grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide.
