Summer 2017 is filled to the brim with big-name tentpoles and franchise movies – among them, new Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean and Transformers films, as well as the latest Planet of the Apes installment. The latter is titled War for the Planet of the Apes and it continues the story of Caesar (played via motion-capture by Andy Serkis) from where we last left him in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. As the title implies, war between Ape-kind and humanity has now begun, with Caesar leading the Apes and a fellow known as simply the Colonel (Woody Harrelson) leading Team Humankind.
