We’ve barely even met Mantis, one of the newest Guardians of the Galaxy, but she’s already made quite the impression with just seconds of teaser trailer screen time. Played by Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), the Celestial Madonna illustrates her empathetic superpower of reading people’s feelings by touching them. Unfortunately, she still seems to be a tad out of touch with the embarrassment it could bring. The larger role that Mantis plays in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is still unknown, but she already seems to fit right in with the team of lovable losers.
