Although Warner Bros.’ DC Expanded Universe movies have made the studio plenty of money at the box office, their critical reception has been somewhat more mixed. There is a distinct sense of hope, however, that the forthcoming Wonder Woman will be the entry that finally breaks that pattern and brings success across the board. The word from behind the scenes is distinctly positive and after many fans felt Gal Gadot’s Amazonian stole the show in Batman V Superman, the anticipation for Wonder Woman’s solo adventure is very high indeed.
