When Marvel Studios brought Guardians of the Galaxy to the big screen, it opened up a different universe of possibilities to the MCU. The first film established the series’ core characters with Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, and, of course, Rocket and Groot, but there were a handful of supporting characters who proved interesting enough they are set to enjoy expanded roles in this year’s sequel, as well as parts in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
