Before Ben Affleck makes his standalone film debut with The Batman, The Dark Knight of Gotham City is set to return to the big screen yet again with Warner Bros.’ The LEGO Batman Movie. A spinoff to the popular LEGO Movie, the film is set to focus entirely on Will Arnett’s self-parodying Bruce Wayne/Batman as he deals with the many criminals and allies he has scattered throughout his beloved city. To say that the studio is going all in on the meta, self-referential tone of the first LEGO Movie would be an understatement based on the film’s extremely humorous and dry marketing campaign so far.
