This summer will see the formal introduction of Spider-Man into the Marvel cinematic universe. The world got its first taste of the new incarnation of the wall-crawler when Tony Stark recruited Peter Parker to fight against Steve Rogers’ allies in Captain America: Civil War. Now Marvel Comics’ most famous character will be joining a busy year for superhero films, with such anticipated releases as Justice League, Wonder Woman, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with his own solo film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
However, there is an agonizingly long wait until the film’s release this July. So fans will be forced to watch, and rewatch, the various forms of promotion and marketing being made available by Sony/Marvel.
