This year is going to be an incredible one for comic book movies, with Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Wonder Woman, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League all on the horizon for DC and Marvel. Fox, meanwhile, has a slightly less ambitious plan for the year with only a single movie being released – but that movie looks like it could be one of the best X-Men movies yet. Logan, Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as Wolverine, is based loosely on the Old Man Logan comics and takes place in a near future when the X-Men are no more. The film has piqued fan interest with an R rating (which worked incredibly well for Deadpool last year) and with the first ever appearance of Laura Kinney, aka X-23.
