The movie adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower has certainly been a long time coming. Hit by a series of delays, Sony Pictures eventually picked up and made the movie; with Nikolaj Arcel as director, The Dark Tower draws from all of Stephen King’s books within the series, and stars Idris Elba as Roland Deschain AKA The Gunslinger, and Matthew McConaughey as Walter, The Man in Black. The movie was originally set for release this February, but was delayed to summer in order to finish post-production without rushing. Thus far, we have yet to see any footage from the movie.
