After a 2016 that saw numerous ups and downs, Warner Bros. is hoping 2017 brings brighter fortunes for the DC Extended Universe. It goes without saying that there’s a substantial amount of pressure on their two releases this year – Wonder Woman and Justice League – to perform well, both from a commercial and critical perspective. If the franchise is to continue to thrive in the future, WB needs these projects to find a great deal of success and establish some forward momentum. They seem to be on the right track, as the trailers for the two films have generated a great deal of excitement.
