The speculation and debate surrounding the title for Star Wars: Episode VIII had been going on ever since The Force Awakens hit theaters at the end of 2015, with fans spending months trying to predict what the mystery title was going to be. Luckily, this week, all of that speculation was put to an end (for the most part), when Disney and Lucasfilm announced once and for all that the highly anticipated sequel would be called Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
