After crossing the $700 million threshold at the box office, Suicide Squad is giving fans of DC’s Extended Universe further cause to root for the underdog. The antihero assembly managed to sway a lot of fans to the dark side, portraying some of Arkham Asylum’s biggest baddies and antiheroes in a new light. However, to many fans’ dismay, one classic heavy got short shrift in the supervillain romp – that of Jared Leto’s Joker.
A number of fans noted Suicide Squad came up a few scenes short when it came to Mr. J. Those looking for more of Gotham’s nuttiest nemesis may, unfortunately, have to wait a little longer.
