The X-Men franchise probably wouldn’t still be around today if the mighty Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) wasn’t a part of it. He made his first appearance in Bryan Singer’s X-Men (2000), and he is now one of the franchise’s most popular characters. That celebrity status also earned him his own standalone series, beginning with X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), and The Wolverine (2013). While neither of those films received overwhelming praise, they still have led us to the third and final installment, Logan. It marks the final appearance of Jackman as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The film centers around an aging Wolverine as he desperately tries to keep his (presumed) clone-daughter, X-23 (Dafne Keen), alive.
