When Spider-Man: Homecoming was officially announced after the positive reception to Tom Holland’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, fans were excited at the prospect of a solo Spider-Man film finally sharing the same universe as his Avengers counterparts. There’s also been just as much buzz surrounding Michael Keaton’s villainous Vulture character, marking the actor’s first Marvel film and third bird-related role. If there’s one thing that hasn’t been highlighted as much, however, it’s the live action introduction of the character Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon).
