Vincent D’Onofrio may be looking to join the DC Extended Universe, saying that he would accept a role in the shared universe if one was offered to him. Warner Bros. has numerous DC Comics projects in the works, and rumors (however outlandish) have suggested that they plan on releasing three to four of those movies per year in the near future. If that happens, then audiences could become inundated with dozens of new characters, and those characters need people to portray them on the big screen.
