Director Jon Watts teases that there may be even more ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. Following his breakout debut in last year’s Captain America: Civil War too, Tom Holland is finally getting the chance to flex his muscles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the big screen again, with the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. Set just after the events in Civil War, the film follows Peter as he continues his new mentor-protégé relationship with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), including testing out his new Stark-designed Spidey suit and trying to stop crimes anywhere and anytime he can.
