Sony and Marvel Studios are just kicking off their Tom Holland-led Spider-Man franchise, but the star doesn’t want to face the same villains audiences have seen before. Even though Spider-Man: Homecoming will be Holland’s first solo film, it will be the sixth solo Spider-Man movie since 2000. Thanks to that exposure, audiences have seen plenty of Spidey, but only a small portion of his amazing rogues gallery. It is one of the reasons Holland’s version is skipping the origin story, but also why Vulture will be the villain.
