Carol Danvers, the first headlining female superhero coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s film slate, hasn’t yet been introduced but we already know she’s the franchise’s most powerful superhero. In the comics, Danvers operated under the alias “Ms. Marvel” for years before taking up the mantle of Captain Marvel but for the purpose of the MCU, the latter is her title before we even meet her.
And when we do see Brie Larson suit up on the big screen, her version of Carol Danvers will already potentially be the “strongest character” Marvel has ever had on screen, at least, that’s the word from Marvel Studios boss and producer Kevin Feige.
In October, Feige said the following, hinting that Danvers already exists as a superpowered hero in the MCU but that we’ve just not met her yet. That’s not a surprise given that all-but-guaranteed reality that Captain Marvel will have a role to play ...
