Once Sony and Marvel Studios worked out a deal to bring the Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, interest peaked in how this new relationship would work. If there were any doubts as to how Spidey would be properly introduced into this universe, his small but memorable role in Captain America: Civil War quickly washed them away.
