One of the best things to come out of an up and down 2016 for the DC Extended Universe was the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Her debut in Suicide Squad quickly established her as a fan favorite character, inspiring interest in her being given a solo series. Robbie herself has taken a major interest in the character and was the one to pitch the idea of a Harley-led film to WB. Ultimately, she has been granted her wish in the form of Gotham City Sirens, a project that will re-team her with director David Ayer.
