The Star Wars franchise came back with a vengeance last year, after a decade-long absence from theaters. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, the first Star Wars movie released under the Disney banner, showed that audiences were eager to get back into this universe, and J.J. Abrams was given the task of brining back original trilogy Star Wars characters for a new adventure with plenty of fresh faces. The most notable new addition is Force Awakens protagonist Rey (Daisy Ridley), a character whose parentage and background remains shrouded in mystery for the time being.
