The first full trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes has more than its fair share of stirring, visually poetic images, and was one of this year’s most exciting trailers released over the past few weeks. Similar to both Rise and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, its two predecessors, it seems to be an intensely personal story told within the context of an epic war story – as Caesar (Andy Serkis) fights to bring an end to the war with the last of the humans by taking on their leader, The Colonel (Woody Harrelson).
